Technical training manager

Thomas-Benjamin Fischer

Hello, my name is Thomas-Benjamin Fischer. I completed my apprenticeship here at the company; I started my training at WASSERMANN in 1999.

After my apprenticeship, I worked in production/turning/milling and grinding for 7 years. I then worked in assembly for 10 years. I have therefore worked in all technical areas of our company and qualified as a trainer. I obtained my training certificate in 2018 through the company.

I really enjoy working with the young people. It is incredibly motivating to see how much euphoria they show when learning the activities. Watching them develop into professionals is just great!

Deputy Technical Training Manager

Dominik Schreiner

Hello, my name is Dominik Schreiner. I completed my apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic at WASSERMANN from 2014 to 2017. Even during my own apprenticeship, I really enjoyed helping and training the next group of apprentices as they learned the ropes. This allowed me to take a mentor training course so that I could provide even better support to Thomas-Benjamin in the training department.

After my apprenticeship, I worked in assembly for 2 years. During this time, we had around 20 trainees to look after, so we never stopped working together in the area of training support. In 2019, I was able to get my training certificate through WASSERMANN. Since then, I’ve been working full-time as deputy training manager in the company and I really enjoy it.

My job offers me a lot of variety and the chance to meet new people again and again. One thing is clear, it never gets boring with us!

Electrical Engineer / Training Coordinator

Dennis Firle

Hello, my name is Dennis Firle. I completed my apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering in 2016. In the years since then, I have gained a variety of insights into electrical engineering and acquired valuable experience. In the course of my work, I have dealt with both state-of-the-art systems and automation as well as older systems.

I really enjoy working with young people in various clubs, so I wanted to continue working with them in my professional life and actively support their development.

After graduating as an electrical engineering technician in 2024 and obtaining my training certification, I have had the opportunity to do just that at WASSERMANN since 2025. The work is varied, and every day brings a new challenge.

Lisa Herget

Hello, my name is Lisa Herget. I completed my apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk in 2019 and trained part-time to become a state-certified business economist.

I have been working in materials purchasing since my apprenticeship.

I really enjoyed training apprentices in a commercial profession and supporting them with help and advice. In 2020, I therefore decided to take the trainer aptitude test.

What I like most about my job as a trainer is seeing how the trainees develop personally and professionally during the training period.

Design Engineer / Training Coordinator

Justus Muth

Hello, my name is Justus Muth. In 2005, I successfully completed my apprenticeship as an automotive mechanic. Even during my apprenticeship and in my subsequent work as a journeyman, I had the opportunity to mentor interns and apprentices.

In 2010, I passed the master craftsman examination to become a certified industrial foreman and also obtained my trainer certification. Toward the end of my military career, I began studying mechanical engineering to further expand my technical expertise.

Outside of my professional life, I have also been involved in youth outreach with my local volunteer fire department for about ten years. What I particularly value is the opportunity to support young people, help them develop skills together, and guide them in their personal growth.

For me, vocational training is not the end of learning, but an important building block in a lifelong process of development.

  • Harley restoration

    Complete assembly and restoration of a Harley

  • High seat

    Conversion of a high seat.

  • Building an XXL foosball table

    An XXL foosball table with illuminated WASSERMANN lettering and LED scoreboard

  • Building a wave bench

    As a partner of the Heinrich-von-Bibra School, we worked with 16 students to build a wave-shaped lounger. Our trainees guided the participants through the process, giving them hands-on experience with various manufacturing techniques such as drilling, milling, and welding.
