We believe that those who manufacture their own products think differently when it comes to design and develop a different perspective on the optimization potential of components.

Furthermore, in-house production enables development times to be greatly reduced – and development is also of key importance at WASSERMANN.

That’s why we are a little proud of our production department, where highly trained teams produce outstanding quality on over 3000 square meters using modern machining centers, precise grinding technology and accurate measuring and testing equipment. We are also well prepared for heavy loads: We have parts and system weights of up to 10 tons safely under control.

In-house production has always been the basis at WASSERMANN.

Our milling shop

Up to thirteen milling centers run in our production facility, some with 5-axis machining and fully automated tool and pallet handling from WASSERMANN.

You are also welcome to entrust us with large components: The maximum workpiece dimensions are 5,000 x 3,000 mm. The tolerances range from 0.04 to 0.08 mm.

Our grinding shop

WASSERMANN has seven units for flat, round and curved grinding.

This allows us to process surfaces with tolerances between 0.02 and 0.03 mm and achieve average surface roughness depths Rz of up to 0.8.

The grinding process tips the scales, especially in the production of curves. Where the possibilities of hard milling are no longer sufficient, grinding achieves the required quality points for the performance and service life of a cam.

We have decades of experience and the grinding technology required to get the most out of curves.

Our technical cleaning

Our cleaning of components is divided into pre-cleaning and final cleaning and ensures that your parts are spotlessly clean.

After the components come out of the machine, in which HIO-free cooling lubricant is used, they go through the pre-cleaning process within 30 minutes.

After the components have been inspected and measured, the final cleaning process follows with further ultrasonic cleaning and hot air drying. The final UV light test ensures that the components are flawless.

For large components, we are planning to invest in a cleaning container in 2024 in order to be able to effectively clean and dry components up to a size of 500x2300x2500mm.

Clean components are crucial for the production of high-precision quality products and our cleaning processes guarantee thorough removal of residues for optimum results.

We can comprehensively test parts and systems for quality using many measurement parameters and precisely record all results. We always provide you with transparent quality documentation.

Wenn Geometrien aufgrund von Spannungen im Rohmaterial minimal vom Plan abweichen, bringen wir die erforderlichen Korrekturen ein – damit Führungsschienen, Rahmen und Gestelle zu geometrischer Perfektion kommen. Erst durch das Richten erschließen Sie sich und Ihren Kunden die maximalen Performancepotenziale Ihrer Maschinen.

Our assembly

Our production team assembles mechanical and electromechanical assemblies on more than 3700 square meters. We have installed flexible and expandable project areas for this purpose. For large quantities or series deliveries, we work according to the one-piece flow model.

What sets us apart: Our proportion of skilled workers is 100%. Quality comes from qualification.

If required, we assemble in a renin room (ISO 7) and meet the cleanliness requirements of our customers. We plan to put our ISO 6-5 laminar flow box into operation in the first half of 2024.

Installation at WASSERMANN is always a clean affair.

Our cleanroom assembly

Our customized cleanroom assembly services provide an optimal environment for projects with the highest cleanliness requirements.

With a clean room area of around 7x7m, we can also handle large projects. Even weights of up to 1000 kg are no obstacle.

Adjustment work and tests are carried out with the utmost care in order to meet cleanliness requirements. Our clean room complies with ISO class 6, enabling us to provide optimum service to customers in the semiconductor and display sector.

We also offer a laminar flow bench for particularly demanding cleanliness requirements, which means that cleanroom class ISO 5 can be achieved under ideal conditions. With low-turbulence displacement ventilation, we meet even the highest cleanliness standards.

Our production brings a variety of materials perfectly into shape.

We also give metal parts from 3D printing the final finish with precise post-processing.

However, we deliberately do not machine one particular material: plastic. But in our large network, we know more than one person who is excellent at this.
