Sales Engineer for the "Semiconductor, Aerospace, Defense" sector wanted (m/f/d)

As a sales engineer in the “Semiconductor Production, Aerospace, Defense” sector, you are a consultant, service provider and salesperson. You will oversee the calculation and quotation process, the entire process from the initial inquiry to the purchase decision, support the internal sales team and make a significant contribution to increasing sales and customer loyalty. You will be responsible for the entire process from the initial inquiry to the purchase decision.

Your tasks:

  • Development and implementation of sales strategies for solutions and products in the semiconductor production, aerospace and defense sectors
  • Building, maintaining and utilizing a sustainable network of customers, partners and key accounts in the relevant industries
  • Identification of market opportunities, preparation of business cases, offer and contract negotiations through to conclusion
  • Collaboration with quotation processing, order processing, procurement, project management, applications engineering and production to develop customized solutions
  • Organization of customer events, trade fairs and presentations
  • Sales and turnover forecasts, pipeline management and regular reporting to the sales management / management.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, export controls (e.g. ITAR / EAR depending on region) and safety-related specifications
  • Collaboration in the development of pricing and market launch strategies for new products

What you bring with you:

  • Completed technical or scientific studies (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, materials science) or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in sales of technical solutions in semiconductor production, ideally with points of contact to aerospace and defense
  • Proven contacts and networks with key accounts, suppliers, authorities or system houses in the above-mentioned industries
  • Potentials and decision-making motives are recognized
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the typical requirements of aerospace/defense customers
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and confidence in dealing with decision-makers
  • Business fluent in German and English; other languages an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (export controls, ITAR / EAR, security clearances) is advantageous
  • In addition, you have organizational skills and a forward-looking, independent, results-oriented, team-oriented and reliable way of working
