Project Manager Digitalization & AI (m/f/d)

Today, AI provides us with possibilities and tools that did not exist two years ago. We need to recognize what is relevant for us, evaluate it and use it in a targeted manner. That’s exactly what we need you for.

You go to our departments – work preparation, assembly, purchasing, design, software development – and recognize what we can improve. Then you build solutions. Sometimes it’s an automated workflow. Sometimes an AI tool. Sometimes simply a better process. You find out which platforms and tools are the right ones – that’s part of your job.

You are not our support – you are the driver.

Your tasks:

Understanding and improving processes – you analyze existing processes, question them and develop smarter solutions, whether digital
or classic
Use AI sensibly – you evaluate and implement AI and AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.) where they create real added value , with a view to security and data protection
Evaluate and introduce digital tools – whether Microsoft 365, open source solutions or specialized platforms: You find out what suits us and implement it
Take specialist departments with you – you speak the language of technicians, planners and business people and translate their problems into solutions
Help shape digitization strategy – develop the roadmap for our digital future directly with management

What you bring with you:

Experience in digitizing workflows – you have already analyzed processes and improved them with digital tools
Genuine interest in AI and the ability to distinguish hype from benefit – you know what is possible today and where the limits lie
Technical understanding – ideally you have a background in software development or have comparable technical
experience
The ability to penetrate processes – you ask “Why do you do it this way?” and find better ways
Understanding of manufacturing or industrial processes – or the willingness to learn them quickly
Organizational talent and project management – you coordinate independently between departments, hold threads together and advance topics
Personal initiative: you don’t wait for requirements, you see where something can be improved
Good knowledge of German, as we are a German-speaking environment
