During your training, you'll move through various departments. At the beginning of the apprenticeship, you'll spend a week with the other trainees in the other apprentices in the training workshop, in order to get to know each other better and to familiarize yourself with the company.
\nAfter this time, you pass through the various departments. As an industrial sales representative, you pass through the departments purchasing, logistics, personnel, sales, accounting, service, and marketing. Most of the time is spent in purchasing and sales. You attend vocational school once a week and twice every second week. After completing half of the training period you'll have to write an intermediate exam, and after three years you take the final exam. You'll attend the Richard Müller School (Richard-Müller-Schule) in Fulda.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

In this training, you learn how a company works and you get to know the company's processes. You organize everything that runs in the background of a company and isn't directly related to production.<\/p>\n

In purchasing, you have to determine material requirements and procure the materials. Price negotiations are conducted and the required products are ordered. You accompany the entire procurement process from customer inquiry to posting the supplier invoice in the accounting department.<\/p>\n

In logistics, you learn how a warehouse works, from receiving goods to picking (retrieving) the required products. You also support the shipping department in packing the manufactured products and take care of shipping and, when necessary, customs clearance.<\/p>\n

In the personnel department, you'll learn how to deal with application documents and create job advertisements and job references.<\/p>\n

You'll spend a long training block in sales, where the company's products are sold. There you calculate the sales prices and take care of customers' wishes. In addition, acquisition of new customers is a major theme, where you'll provide support with trade fair preparations and travel to the trade fair.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

During your training, you'll move through various departments. After you've uploaded your application documents to the website, you'll immediately receive an automatic confirmation of receipt. It then takes around 2 weeks for your documents to be reviewed and processed. After this time, our HR manager Kathrin Weber will get in touch. If we're happy with your documents, you'll be invited to an introductory interview. Appointments can be arranged by telephone or email. After the interview is over, it takes about 2 weeks before you hear from us.
